Templars is pleased to announce Dr. Jude Odinkonigbo joining the firm as a Counsel and one of the leaders in the Firm’s Investigations, White-Collar Defence and Compliance, Dispute Resolution and Tax Practice Groups, effective Monday, 19 April, 2021.

Jude holds a PhD in Taxation Law & Policy from the Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Canada. He also has two Masters Degrees in Law in International Taxation Law from Yale Law School, Yale University, USA and Intellectual Property Law from Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, Canada.

Jude is a highly respected lawyer with 20 years’ experience in Litigation and Arbitration, Compliance Law and Tax Advisory. He routinely advises a broad range of local and international clients on transactional, regulatory and tax-related issues. His previous experience includes consulting for the World Bank, International Monetary Funds, the Federal Inland Revenue Service and several States’ Board of Internal Revenue.

He is recognized as a Notable practitioner in the IFLR 1000 guide to the world’s leading financial and corporate law firms.

Jude was recently a Partner and the Head of the Tax, Transfer Pricing & Intellectual Property Practices at a Nigerian Law firm. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
