Onyinye Omenugha is an Associate in the firm’s Finance Practice Group.
She obtained her law degree with Honours from Nnamdi Azikiwe University where she earned over 25 leadership and academic recognitions, including the prestigious Princess Diana Award.
Onyinye is passionate about, and actively champions access to quality education for law students with disabilities across Africa through her initiative, LAWSANAID. Her contribution to inclusivity and equity has been recognised at different times, including her global recognition as one of Chegg.org’s 50 Exceptional Students in 2023.

- Advised the leading Singaporean-headquartered conglomerate, Tolaram on its acquisition of Diageo’s 58.02% interest in the Nigerian Exchange-listed Guinness Nigeria plc.
- Advising a leading Nigerian diversified company operating across food and beverages, real estate, and logistics on its proposed acquisition of 50% equity stake in a Nigerian Company.
- Advising a Fintech Company on the acquisition of relevant licenses, including the PSS license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
- Advising a global private equity firm on its acquisition of an equity stake in a company, offering expertise on deal structuring and execution.
