Joshua Olorunmaiye is an experienced Associate in the Firm’s Energy and Natural Resources practice group. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Kogi State University and was admitted to practise law in Nigeria in 2015.
Before joining TEMPLARS, Joshua had previous experience in top Nigerian law firms and a stint as in-house legal counsel in a renewable energy development company.
Joshua advises on power and renewable energy projects development, oil and gas exploration, production and distribution, infrastructure, energy sector M&A, and project finance deals. He also frequently publishes articles on developments in the energy sector and his opinions have been widely featured in reputable dailies.

- Advising Metrowaves Sports and Infrastructure Limited in connection with the proposed engineering, procurement, construction, and development of a 12,000-capacity entertainment arena, in Lagos State, Nigeria.
- Advising a solar power generation company on the trading of carbon credits that may be generated from its proposed projects.
- Advised Abia State Government with respect to the creation of the Abia electricity market and the passage of the Abia State Electricity Law.
- Advised Conoil Producing Limited in connection with operations and the development of Oil Mining Lease 136.
- Advised an indigenous company in respect of the concession from the Federal Government of Nigeria to rehabilitate, operate and maintain a secured and independent multimedia communications system for the Nigerian Police.
