We are proud to have sponsored the Nigerian Stock Exchange training on Legal and Risk Aspects of Derivative and Central Counterparty Clearing (CCP) Transactions. The recently concluded event took place at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island Lagos from the 20th to 21st November 2017.

The second day of the event featured an important panel session which had our Finance Partner, Chike Obianwu as one of the panelists. The session focused on a “Case Study on ETDs and OTCs: Risks, Regulation, CCPs, Disputes and other issues” with other discussants from Linklaters LLP, Heirs Holding, Access Bank, Austen Peters & Co. among others.

Templars is delighted to be associated with the Nigerian Stock Exchange in its quest to champion Africa’s growth through the Capital Markets. This also demonstrates the firm’s strong commitment and reputation in the Nigerian Capital Markets space as evident in its recent award as the Capital Markets Team of the Year 2017 by the ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards.
