Job Summary

This position is responsible for the Firm’s brand management and content distribution strategies, email marketing, advertising, partnership development and managing overall execution of the firm’s Communications objectives.

The candidate will also serve as the media relations expert and help to establish the firm as a Thought Leader to our clients and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage Communications activities.
  2. Oversee Firm website; coordinate social media efforts; act as creative director and produce digital content (e.g., website, blogs, press releases and podcasts) and newsletters.
  3. Actively engage, cultivate and manage press relationships to secure coverage surrounding deal announcements, special events, public announcements and other projects of the firm.
  4. Proactively identify opportunities for engagement and influence by being current with developments that relate to the Firm and its clients.
  5. Develop a calendar for external speaking engagements for key personnel.
  6. Develop and deliver a wide range of informational, educational, and promotional material concerning the activities of the Firm.
  7. Design Digital Media campaigns.
  8. Implement internal and external marketing and communication strategies.
  9. Maximize audience awareness of the services of the Firm.
  10. Generate media coverage for corporate brand and events, seminars, speaking engagements.
  11. Maintain relevant statistics and information relation to the overall operation of the department.
  12. Devise systems to ensure that Firm’s outbound materials are distributed effectively.
  13. Disseminate Firm information using all available and relevant media tools.
  14. Conduct research, perform analyses and prepare reports required for strategic decision making as regards the achievement of the department and Firm’s objectives.

Qualification and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in communications and digital marketing.
  • Experience in media relations management and email marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of website content management systems.
  • Experience managing social media communities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional written, oral, proofreading, branding, design oversight, interpersonal and presentation skill set.
  • Management, analysis and growth of social and digital advertising campaigns with measured results.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain beneficial media relationships on the Firm’s behalf.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage projects assigned through completion with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently and as a highly resourceful team player under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Creative and innovative thinker, who actively presents new opportunities, proposes solutions and recommends best practices.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and effectively resolve conflict by identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to work creatively and with flexibility in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high work standards.
